NEW STUDENT iPAD PROGRAM

For the 2013-14 academic year, all new undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at Long Island University on at least a half time basis are eligible to receive an Apple iPad™ mini within the first semester. Students will have complete access to this cutting edge mobile device for classes and personal use at all times. Using this revolutionary, “cloud computing” technology, students can access their MyLIU account, create real-time learning environments, stay in touch with faculty, advisors and classmates, research topics at any time, and engage in blended and fully online courses to ensure that key technological skills are developed appropriately for the 21st century.


NEW FULL TIME UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

To be eligible to receive an Apple iPad™ mini free of charge, you must complete the following:

  • Newly register and maintain full-time undergraduate status (12+ credits) for the semester.

  • Make satisfactory payment arrangements with the Bursar/Office of Student Financial Services.

  • Submit the appropriate vaccination records to the Health Services Department.

  • Provide all required documentation to the Admissions Office.

  • Clear all holds and make your appointment within your first semester.


NEW PART TIME UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

To be eligible to receive an Apple iPad™ mini at the reduced rate of $185, you must complete the following:

  • Register and maintain part-time undergraduate status (6-11 credits) for the semester.

  • Make satisfactory payment arrangements with the Bursar/Office of Student Financial Services.

  • Submit the appropriate vaccination records to the Health Services Department.

  • Provide all required documentation to the Admissions Office.

  • Agree to pay a discounted fee of $185 that will be applied to your student account on October 2, 2013.

  • Clear all holds and make your appointment within your first semester.


NEW GRADUATE STUDENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

To be eligible to receive an Apple iPad™ mini at the reduced rate of $185, you must complete the following:

  • Register and maintain at least part-time graduate status (6+ credits) for the semester.

  • Make satisfactory payment arrangements with the Bursar/Office of Student Financial Services.

  • Submit the appropriate vaccination records to the Health Services Department.

  • Provide all required documentation to the Admissions Office.

  • Agree to pay a discounted fee of $185 that will be applied to your student account on October 2, 2013.

  • Clear all holds and make your appointment within your first semester.
